The Bette Slingback

Most of our pieces run true to size — if you're usually a medium, order a medium.

Each product page lists specific fit notes and measurements, and our linen and cotton styles are made with a little ease, so they sit beautifully without feeling tight.

Between two sizes? We'd nudge you to the larger for a more relaxed, effortless drape.

Still unsure? email us your measurements and we'll help you find the ideal size!

Every Helena Bloom piece begins in California, where it's designed — the fabrics, the shapes, the way a dress is meant to move and feel in the summer light.

From there, each piece is made by skilled manufacturing partners across the globe, by people who take real care with their craft.

We choose our makers for the quality of their work, and we finish every order with the same attention, wherever in the world it's sewn.

Our focus never changes: beautifully made pieces, honestly priced, that you'll reach for season after season.

We're a young, independent California brand, and we're growing the right way — one beautiful piece and one happy customer at a time.

That means designing things we'd wear ourselves, pricing them so they're a joy rather than a splurge, and standing behind every order with easy 30-day returns and amazing team who answer when you write.

Most styles are happiest with a cool, gentle machine wash and a flat or hang dry — linen actually softens and gets better with wear.

Specific care details are listed on each product, and on the care label inside.

As soon as we receive your order, we start working on it right away.
