And the neckline is the moment: an off-shoulder band edged in a soft frill, elasticated so it grips and stays put instead of sliding down all afternoon.
The finishing is the kind you check for: a picot-lace hem and that pretty ruffled band. And it's woven from hemp — breathable on a warm afternoon, remarkably strong, and softer with every wash, the rare fabric that wears in instead of out.
