In 1937, Salvador Dalí put a lobster on an evening gown. Fashion has never quite recovered.
This is that spirit, in full colour. A scarlet lobster across turquoise, an octopus curled at one sleeve, shells and a lamp and a scatter of stars. Then white horses cantering past a classical column. And then, low on the skirt, a deep-blue night: palm trees, a yellow moon, and a pavilion where mermaids stand on golden columns above a checkered floor. Greek-key borders hold the whole thing together, the way a good scarf always does.
It is not a quiet dress. That's the entire point.
